Aleks Krotoski is currently completing a PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Surrey, titled Social Influence in Second Life: social network and social psychological processes in the diffusion of belief and behaviour on the Web. In this research, she examined the relationship between communication patterns and group processes in the diffusion of information through an online community.

Aleks also has an interest in the ethical issues of conducting research via computer-mediated communication and sits on the British Psychological Society’s working group for Online Qualitative Research Ethics.
